I had an honour to check the new and unreleased debut album “Emotional Colors” by Swede:art! And you know what, this album is tight as hell! “Emotional Colors” is not some nonsense title, it really describes the album so expect the colourful and non boring album, in some way it’s a mixture of genres! Swede:art is only 20 years old producer based in Germany, but already he is highly acclaimed artist in beats/electronica/whateveryounameit scene. He also participated in Red Bull Music Academy 2010, what is really high appreciation to the artist. While I was listening to the album, I thought daaamn it will be really hard to pick my few favorites to share with you and it really was! 80% of this album made of my favorites…
Influences from techno avantgarde and 90s hiphop melt into unorthodox funk, subbass staccatos, saw tooth wave attacks and bleep action in slow motion. In short, ‘Emotional Colors’ is a must for the passionate space traveler.
Yup, I’m definitely the space traveler! The best part of all this, is that I am able to provide you an exclusive full track streams! The first one is entitled “Embrace the Chill” in which Swede:art collaborated with other Tokyo Dawn artist Comfort Fit and talented singer/producer Persuit Grooves. The second one is “You Live Forever” with Daktus featuring on in! Some yummy tracks!
