Stas Hmot and Albert Damscray are Demokracy, a group based in Siberia, Russia, recently signed to the Robox Neotech label. Well, It’s hard to describe their music, but the first impression was like it’s something between black and white, fun and odd. In the mix you will find a couple of unreleased tunes by their friends, plus some Russian pop rock from 90s, modern heavybassweight headbanging stuff and a few tunes by Delia Derbyshire, who was an electronic music pioneer in the mid of 20th century – she wrote a soundtrack for Dr. Who. That’s the way how they see the true sound of such weird place like Siberian Taiga. While you’ll be listening to the mix, check out their Facebook page, Soundcloud and Myspace.
